We made the choice not to implement this setting after exchange with decompression experts and the certification bodies (BNAAH-INPP). We made the safest choice (fresh water).

We therefore display the "equivalent depth" to the pressure that the diver would experience if he was in fresh water. That is the information that the diver can safely use as an entry into the dive tables.

On the other hand, we do not display the "true depth" that could be a potential source of error for any decompression protocol calculation.
